Did George Foreman use steroids?
Nope. I think the use of steroids in sports, particularly boxing was not yet in vogue. Suspicion of steroid's use only arouse with the sudden dominance of women swimmers from the Eastern Bloc countries in the mid and late 70s whose physique and strength were like that of men He was naturally strong even when he was in the amateurs where he won the Olympic gold in Mexico City in 68. Foreman was not unique in this respect for even fighters of earlier days like Archie Moore, Henry Armstrong and Jersey Joe Walcott retained their strength and power, especially their knockout power even into their 40s. Steroids were not yet even discovered then. And addiction to drugs was limited to morphine and primitive uppers or downers. Banish the thought, man!
