I need styrofoam popcorn that looks like real popcorn not "s" shapes.?

I am doing a craft project that uses a styrofoam ball and you glue on the styrofoam popcorn that looks like the real thing to make it look like a popcorn ball. The new packing material looks like an "s" shape. Does anyone know where to buy styrofoam packing material that looks like the real thing?
