What would have happened if Ford had Not discontinued the Capri in 1986 and just kept on making it.?
I dont mean bring out a totally new car and still called it the Capri. I mean Kept that car as it was in production. Important updates would have had to be. Oct 91 catalytic converter fitted Late 94 side impact protection fitted. Mid 95 twin air-bags fitted and stiffened bodyshell to meet newer front impact requirments. Would it look cool in todays world full of slab sided bland euro-boxes. They would have of course have to do little tweeks to the engines to meet co2 emmision requirments etc etc. They could have even introduced a Diesel version for penny pinching misers. Cheers
